NASA aircraft being revolves around Mars has revealed " significant signs " that continues to have running water in the surface of the " Red Planet " . Photos that Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter has reveal traces that resemble the fingerprint on the surface of Mars . Experts say they have no clear evidence , but believe they have left traces of minerals , which could not have been without running water . New tracks include relevant seasonal changes in iron ore in the same slopes where they noticed " fingerprint " . Some consider that maybe it is for some flow of iron ore , such as iron sulphate , but there are also other possible explanations .
"I still have no clear confirmation that Mars has water , and do not know if this process can take place without the presence of water at all ," the Daily Mail quoted researcher Luhendra Ojha at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta .
Ojha and Assistant Professor James Ray long ago have viewed 13 pictures from the same orbiter . They discovered the spectral lines " visible and kosistente " in its iron and minerals in most countries .
Results are published in Geophysical Research Letters .
" The flow of water in any form and anywhere on Mars would be a breakthrough , which would affect the current understanding of climate change on Mars ," said researcher working Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter project , Richard Zurek .
