The conclusion comes from a Scottish study conducted years ago. Researchers analyzed more than 300 people, whose coefficient is measured as 11 year olds, and then as a 64 year old.

Researchers conducted a questionnaire through which is estimated amount of omega-3 fatty acids consumed through food and a supplement. The participants were also measured levels of omega-3 acids in plasma.

Results showed that those who had consumed supplements with omega-3 fatty acids had better cognitive skills (cognitive) and higher IQ than their peers who did not take supplements.
