Grand Canyon, over 1,800 meters deep, is a giant crack in the Arizona desert, eroded by the Colorado River over the past 20 million years.
When cliffs rising up from the strong movements of the Earth, entering the river between them, creating, at times, extraordinary mouth of a river, in the face of the Earth.
When seen from above the Grand Canyon in 1540, Spanish exploits surmised that the river was only 2 meters wide, was as follows. In fact, it is about 100 times wider!
In summer, temperatures inside the canyon goes over 38 degrees centigrade. In winter, temperatures in the canyon North Ridge | most high | can drop to minus 18 degrees Celsius and there can not be deported because of the snow.
